Courts: In San Diego County, there are 4 primary branch courts that deal with DUI’s in the San Deigo Superior Court system: Central Branch, North County, South County, and East County.

Booking Information: When someone is arrested, they will either remain in the custody of the police station where they were booked, or be placed in the custody of San Diego County Sheriff, who operates the San Diego County Jail. Once someone goes to court for the first time, if they are not released, they will be guests of the San Diego County Sheriff.

Alcohol or Drug Problems: Sometimes, being arrested for an alcohol or drug related incident is the catalyst to get help for a substance abuse problem. In the context of a criminal case, courts look very favorably upon someone who recognizes that they may have a problem, and is taking steps to address it. Whether you or a loved one suffers from such a problem is for each individual family, in light of their own circumstances, to decide.
